The Philippians community is an allusion to the apostle Paul's first community of support. 

For context, Paul, being the greatest missionary who have ever lived on the face of this Earth, travelled around carrying his passion for the message of the gospel and systematically making disciples and leaving a legacy wherever he went. 

Similar to our days, except for the fact there was no email, no technology, no internet and none of the tools we have available today, he took the message to places no one had ever attempted to take it. And in order to do that, he counted on the support of this amazing and generous community, who according to the scriptures, were the first ones to partner with him.

The reason we call our community of supporters "Philippians" is because we're confident they will understand the mission behind our content. At first glance, we have a lot to give away and help people: We point people toward a direction they find purpose in life, we redeem our time and we provide real value. However, behind the amazing things we acomplish with our community, we carry the message of the gospel and salvation, invading a space that is labeled as hostile to the gospel.

Think about this: If the internet were a country in our planet, it would be the largest country of them all with more than 5 Billion people in it. The amount of attention given to social media and enterteinament online is absurd. The average adult in our days spend close to 6 hours everyday on their phones. It is literally the black mirror times. We could sit back and complaint about it or we could do something about it! We chose the latter.
